I am not sure if you are referring to giving financially or serving in
some way with your talents and abilities or both. The answer is basically the same. John Wesley the founder of the Methodist movement was quoted as saying “Make all you can, save all you can and give all you can.” Jesus said the greatest commandment was to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Give freely of your time, talent and treasure with a heart of love and you will find a joy and a peace will fill your soul.
