Should Christians own and carry guns for protection?

Christians are no different than any other person regarding the owning and carry of a gun. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 22:36 that the time had come when if they didn’t have a sword to go and buy one. They responded by saying that they had two swords and He said that’s it is enough. The choice to own or not own a gun is an individual choice. A gun is simply a tool to be properly handled, cared for and used. Violence is a problem whether it includes a gun, knife, club or fist. More deaths are caused by drunk drivers than by guns each and every year. Everyday 36 people die and nearly 700 are injured due to accidents caused by drunk drivers.

Why should I go to church? I use to go but it was boring and nothing but rituals.

I am sorry that you had that experience where you went to church. At New Hope Church we have a live worship team that leads us in singing. Most Sundays we have keyboards, drums, bass and guitarist along with a whole team of singers. The preaching is up to date and directly connected with real life issues. There are real life answers to real life situations. We have prayer for those in need that are not ritual in nature but personally given as the Holy Spirit leads.
