Is it true that Jesus was not born on December 25th?

The exact date of the birth of Jesus is unknown. The date of December 25th was chosen by the early church around the year 354.
What we do know is that the angel announced,
“There is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
The reason for Christmas, the reason we celebrate is because God became flesh to become our Savior.
We celebrate that a loving God made it possible that sinful man could have a relationship with Him through believing and receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
That is why we can say with a joyful heart, “Merry Christmas!”.

I am sorry that you feel your life is terrible. These are the times when we need divine intervention. Unless God shows
up it can be a very bad situation. Jesus said,
"The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.
But I have come that you might have
life and have it more abundantly."
The thief is the devil who wants
to steal your joy, kill your reason for living and destroy your life. Jesus wants you to have an abundant,
fulfilled life. Try inviting Jesus into your life and tell
the devil to be gone in Jesus name.
Watch and see what happens.

What does it mean when Jesus was talking about how times would be when the Son of Man returns where He says, "as it was in the days of Lot"?

The days of Lot refers to how people where living in the sin ridden city of Sodom. Sodom was judged by God due to the actions of the people who lived there of wanting to have homosexual relationships with Lot's visitors. The word Sodomy came from this sinful behavior that was judged by God. Jesus was prophesying of what lifestyles would be like when He returned. In America in 1960 it was illegal in every state to perform homosexual acts. In the year 2000 not one country in the world had legalized same sex marriage. In 2015 America legalized same sex marriage in all 50 states. By the year 2017, twenty-six nations have now legalized same sex marriage. What Jesus said would happen is happening right before our eyes. We are very, very close to the return of the Lord. Once again this world is about to experience the judgment of God. Only those who are born again of the Spirit will escape God's judgment and enter the kingdom of God.

A friend of mine has cut marks on her arms, recently gotten several facial piercings and has opened the door of a moving car attempting to jump out. What should I do?

Pray for protection for your friend. This behavior of self mutilation, cutting, attempting to jump from a moving car is very serious. It is often a cry for help from a very troubled soul. This could be the result of a mental disorder, a cry for help from someone in an abusive situation or even a demonic presence. Jesus in Mark 5 had an encounter with a man who had very similar behavior that was caused by the presence of demons in his life. Jesus commanded the demons to leave and the man returned to living a normal life. Encourage your friend to talk with someone who is trained and familiar with dealing with this serious kind of behavior. There is probably both spiritual and emotional/mental issues that need to be addressed. This should not be taken lightly.

"What We Believe". But most of the time I have found that people are questioning what are the basic things we believe and practice. Here are some of the basic things we believe:
The Bible-It is the inspired word of God and its teachings are still true today.
Sin-Every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Salvation-Only comes through believing and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ-That Jesus Christ is the only Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
Holy Spirit-When Jesus ascended into heaven He had said He would not leave us as orphans but that the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit would come to abide with us forever. When a person is born again of the spirit the Holy Spirit comes into their life. Believers are then encouraged to also be filled, baptized with the Holy Spirit. These are some of the basics of what we believe and practice.

What is the most important teaching of Jesus?

That is a very challenging question because every teaching of Jesus was important but considering eternity I would put these at the top: John 3:7 “You must be born again.” John 3:17-18 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already” John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus taught that every man needs to be born again spiritually and that spiritual birth can only happen by believing and accepting Jesus as the only Savior. I see this as the most important teaching, because the fate of your eternal soul depends on if you reject or accept His teaching. To accept means you have believed and confessed that Jesus Christ is your Lord.
