Abortion has divided political parties into one that supports pro-life and one that supports abortion. Church denominations have taken different stands on this issue. They will either call themselves pro-life or pro-choice. It just doesn't seem proper for a church to side with being pro-abortion. This issue of abortion I believe is a sin and like any sin a pastor has the responsibility to address the problem of sin before the people of his church. Just like any sin that might be mentioned there will those in the congregation who have been affected by the sin being mentioned. Just like any other sin, Jesus has paid the price for that sin and if a person will confess and receive God’s gift of forgiveness they can find healing. The issue of abortion must not be left alone or else there will be those who are suffering from the results of this sin and they will have no place to find forgiveness and healing.
