Jesus speaking about Himself said that in that day when the Son of Man would be revealed that it would be like the days of Noah or the days of Lot. People would be eating, drinking, getting married, buying and selling, planting and building, carrying on with life and then the end would come. In both cases of Noah and Lot judgment then came from God. The same will be true when Jesus returns and raptures all those who are followers of Christ. After the rapture this world will experience the judgment of God. Luke 17:24-36, John 14:1-6, 1 Thess 4:15-18.
The rapture is the teaching that Jesus is coming back for His followers, that He will come and all those who are ready will be “caught up” or raptured to meet Him in the air.

The recent shooting was a horrific act of evil and my prayers and sympathy go out to all the victims and their families. When something like this happens we always want to find a way to keep it from happening again. Consider this, every day 28 people die from a D.U.I. accident. We don’t blame the car, we don’t even go after banning alcohol. We blame the driver. In 2015 there was 1.1 million arrested for D.U.I. and over $44 billion in damages because of D.U.I. but we don’t go after the car or the alcohol we blame the driver. For the 911 disaster we don’t blame the jet plane or box cutters for taking down the World Trade Center, but we blame the individuals. The problem is not with guns, cars, planes or box cutters but with the heart of man. Without God the bible says, “The heart of man is desperately wicked”. A man without God will always a find a way to do wicked things. |
