“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18
God is not sending anyone to hell. According to the Bible man is already condemned to hell because of his sin. It is because of God’s love that Jesus came to save man from going to hell.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18 The Bible is very clear that God does talk to people through dreams. But not every dream is God talking to you. In fact most dreams are just simply dreams. They are the result of our subconscious mind being active during our sleep. There are many books available that will can supposedly tell you what every thing means in the dream world. Dreaming of a horse means this, dreaming of a fire means that and so on. I do not agree with those in that camp. When and if God gives you a dream, He will also give you the interpretation. God will use images that will mean something to you, something that you will be able to understand. God would not give you a dream that He will not also give you the means to understand it. Every church can impose whatever guidelines they feel are proper. The bible talks about how communion, the act of taking emblems representing the blood and body of Christ should be done. There is a requirement of self examination before sharing in this observance. At New Hope Community Church we have what is called open communion. It is open to anyone who professes to be a believer, a follower of Christ. We first announce that requirement, the need for self examination and then it is open to all who desire to participate. |
