I was forced to go to church as a child so I decided not to force my children to go. Why should I ?6/25/2015 I don't know what kind of a church you were forced to go to but that reasoning doesn't really hold up. After all for a lot of us kids growing up, we were forced to go to bed at a certain time, forced to eat our vegetables, forced to take a bath, forced to wear a coat and so on. Church attendance should be a place where you look forward to going, a place where you come to realize and experience the love of God. A place where you make friends who together with them you come to understand God's plan and purpose for your life. Of all the things that we do for our children giving them a sound bible foundation and a place where they can discover God's love in action is of most important. God says, "To train up a child in the way he should go". An age appropriate class will help instill eternal values that will help your children to grow into adults who honor God in all they do.

The same as we should to any other person with love and compassion. We don’t have to agree with what he has done to still show the love and forgiveness that God offers to every person. My heart is hurting for him, his family and friends. It was reported in March 2015 after a 10 hour facial-feminization surgery, Bruce Jenner had a panic attack saying “What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?” He is obviously a very confused man seeking his identity. Bruce like each one of us needs to find our identity in our relationship in God through Jesus Christ. God created us male and female and has a plan and purpose for each one of our lives. Seeking to know God and discovering His plan answers a lot of questions that people have. I am praying that Bruce will find God’s answer for his life. |
